School Youth festival.

51^st State School youth Festival,Largest Festival in Asia began on 18^Th of this month,at Kottayam.

School Youth Festival started to give encouragement in fine arts as music,dance,drawing etc.But

now it is a crooked way to get admission for professional courses or become an actor or actress.

Fine arts is dyeing as these students learn items as capsule ,just for competition and somehow gets prize and grace mark.If they didn’t get A grade for an item,they give appeal till they get A grade and grace mark.If they didn’t get prize ,they give appeal to get prize and grace mark.

Learning fine arts is like meditation.There need many years of learning from guru and practice.But these students ,after getting admission for professional cources,they will not see in any completion.Jeusudas,p.Jayachadran,Kavya madhavan ect became famous ,not because as they got prize in youthfestival.

Now Youth festival is cash festival.Students learn items just to participate in youth festival.They learn items for 10 minutes.They didn’t know more .They began to learn items when school re-opens or on vacation.The same item is playing every competition,district,sub-district and state.They learn these items from a famous Gurus.

Appeal is an income for Government.For appeal ,they charge Rs .5000/for an item .Appeal money will refund if the student get more mark than the declared result.Well known Gurus are included in Judgement panel in every item.This time judges for Bharathanatyam is from Chenni,kuchupudi from Andhra,classical music also from chenni.T.N.Seshagopan,Ramachandran(sandanam)were came for judgement.If any participant didn’t get prize,givng appeal is not good.By this decision of judges become invalid and they are insulted.

Giving sadya is another lavishness.Crores of money is lavishing.Giving food is a must ,not sadya.Golden trophy is dead money.The students of the district ,who got more points gets the trophy and just touches the trophy and put it in treasury.This time Kozhikode got more points.

The youth festival must beneficial to the students.

REPEATING TRAGEDY

15Th newspaper issued with headlines of Sabarimala pullumedu tragedy.It happened while the devotees were returning home after witnessing Makarajoithy .Death increased to 102.The tragedy happened because of crowding lakh of devotees in small place,some fell down,others kicked with feet.There was no light,road facilities,,more vehicles parked,less police to control, became the reason for tragedy.After happening each tragedy ,different department blame each other.

In 1999this type of tragedy occured in Pampa and 52 devotees died.After judicial enquiry 14 suggestions where given to Government to avoid these type of tragedies.One of the suggestions was not to allow devotees in pullumedu.

Sabarimala Deva swam Board is interested in only building huge building.They are not giving facilities to devotees.All they wanted is to get forest and cut trees in the name of development.If more and more trees forests cleaned,where the animals will live?They can not have a strike or give petition in court for justice.


When and where some tragedy happens,Government ,Congress or communist,give order of Judicial enquiry.After enquiry ,the report will put in a corner.

The boat tragedy happened atThekkadi in 2009 and Government ordered Judicial enquiry.But till now enquiry is not finished and compensation is not given.(Mathrubhumi reports)

There is no value for a human being.The lost of some one in a family can not replaced by Judicial enquiry.

BUS DAY

Yet another blender day of celebration .18^Th of this month is celebrated as Bus day at Kochi.This day was celebrated to attract more people to travel in bus, to reduce traffic block&air pollution.Transport Minister ,District collector,M.L.A,&some cini artists travelled in low –floor bus ,with escort of media .Minister said ,if this is a success,it will spread to whole state.

.But the common people did see nothing new.

Here private buses are murders.Traffic rules are not applicable to them,high charges,&stuff people more that sitting &standing capacity&some times push travelers at the time they landing from bus to overtake the bus in front. To reduce traffic is to give good fecilities like good road,good buses,&good services of bus operators.

When low-floor bus came passengers accepted with happiness.Even the charge is high passengers can reach at home with out fear of death.

Bus day celibration is not a solutoion to reduce traffic&pollution.Ministers can reduce traffic as they can share car more ministers go in same way &avoid excort.Common passengers can share there car with friends.Metro will reduce traffic like at Delhi.

Here development is not important,contraversy is impotant.

Asain Games 2010

16^th Asian games started at Guangzhou on 12^th of 2010 with wonderful opening ceremony.Indian team participated with the confidence of 2^nd position in common Wealth Games.But from first day itself India had a bad beginning.The non –availability of good food &lack of facilities in shooting range disturbed shooters .

After some day India got unexpected silver &bronze medals in Gymnastic,Swimming,chess.India got medal in swimming after 24 years&in Gymnastic the first time in the history of Asian games.

In sailing India got one gold &3 silver medals.The participants are from army,they participated with rented boat.They had no coaching facility &Government no money or support to them.They worked hard ,only supported .The team stays in tin sheeted quarters,they share expenses and they got medal.

India gives more money ,facilities&support only to cricket.Cores of rupees giving to players.This time cricket is included in Games but India is not participating in it.

Indian Government ,in any games ,is not interested to give facilities,coaching to participants.Before a month to start any games,do selection&take some one for games.But in other countries coaching is starting from early child-hood.After a long years coaching they get gold medals in games.

India got some gold in athletic unexpectedly.

India got more medals in Athletic,boxing etc.

India got 14gold medals and got 6th position. All said bye bye and to meet in 2014 in South koriya on 17th Asian Games.
