I have been reading about various persons who were getting into the Guinness record books.while some of them enter the prestigious records due to sheer merit ,a few others get into adopting often debatable methods.
Last week i read a small baby girl ,aged 8 years dancing up to 35 hours to get get into the Guinnessbook. Some Human Rights Association tried to intervene, asking the performance to be banned as it felt that parents of the girl were doing it to get them fame.
Even the hospitals also seem in the same path. Here a hospital (sunrise hospital) was trying to get into the Guinness book ,in the name of fibroid removal. They claimed that they removed a fibroid of 4kg one day. After a week they reported another case of a 5kg fibroid.Next day another hospital(amrita hospital)says they removed 10kg fibroid.
These reports show that the concerned people show no respect or importance to the human being and are concerned only about the publicity. They didn't realise the pain and disturbance caused to the affected people.
Do we have any rule to stop these kinds of publicity?
